Get Ready To Climb
Climb for a Cure! #voicesofMBC
What is MBC? ->
Metastatic breast cancer, also known as mbc, stage IV or Advanced Breast Cancer, is cancer that has spread beyond the breast and lymph nodes under the arm. The most common sites of metastases are the bones, lungs, liver and brain. No one dies from breast cancer that remains in the breast. The lump itself is not what kills. The spread of cancerous cells to a vital organ is what kills. This is called metastasis.

Why Climb? ->
DID YOU KNOW?!
110 people die a day from Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Yet this stage gets less than 7% of every dollar raised for 'PINKtober'. This is why Voices of MBC and Make Moves are partnering to bring awareness to metastatic breast cancer.
We have decided to bring awareness by doing a one day climb up to Echo Mountain.
Event Details: ->
Saturday, October 10th
Registration: 6:30 am
Location - Echo Park:

What to expect: ->
The trail is a moderate 5-mile back and out, hike with a slight incline. Bring a snack, eat at the top where the old Echo Mountain resort used to reside, then make your way back down. Sure to be a great work out, a fun day and a great way to raise awareness and monies for stage IV metastatic breast cancer.
All monies raised will go to benefit Metavivor and Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
Can’t attend the event, we have more options to support!
